There is some truth to all of this.

Because if you think about it, the main thing most detractors point out is that Floyd hasn't beaten any great fighters and if they were great then they weren't in their prime when he fought them. And if they were prime then they weren't much to begin with.....as in overrated.
So could it be, that he is giving Cotto more time to establish himself not just as a very good young fighter who deserves a shot BUT a great fighter.
