If Floyd moved up to super-middleweight

That was not funny. I think you got me confused with Horus.random noob:Another Floyd Mayweather thread from vladimir303?
noob2: surely not?
random noob: yes but this time he's mentioned an obscure fighter alongside him?
noob2: who? Miguel Cotto?
random noob: Nope, Joe Calzaghe.
noob2: Ah I see it's the only way he comment on the Calzaghe BHop fight, because vlad only knows one fighter (Floyd) he has to contextualize it in terms of Floyd Mayweather Jr in order to write about it.
random noob: Flashy.
I've made plenty of non-Floyd related threads.
It think Gomez is a secret fan of mine.Comment

I think Floyd could do it. He would out-box the **** out of Joe Calzaghe. And against the ropes Floyd would shoulder roll all of those slaps.Comment

Everyone knows Floyd would win every round against Joe.He will pick his shots thru the middle and block all Calzaghe has to offer.Comment

This threads nonsense, Floyd couldn't fight at 168 he'd get owned by anyone in the top 5. Thats like saying Calzahe could go to heavyweight.
This is the reason we have weight classes people.Comment

Calzaghe would absolutely murder mayweather. First of all Hopkins made Calzaghe look like **** but he still landed 300 punches. If Calzaghe landed just 100 on Mayweather, he would no longer be "pretty". Calzaghe would overwhelm Mayweather, with not just pressure, but effective pressure.
Mayweather is obviously a great fighter but his record is overhyped so much. Say what you want about Calzaghe, but he has never ducked a challenge, unlike Floyd.Comment

No this is the reason why we have All-Time great fighters who transcend weight (Pernell, Toney, Jones, Leonard) and move up to become multi-division champions and we have just barely great fighters like Joe Calzaghe - who hang around for a decade in the same weight class defending a WBO title.
Roy Jones started at middleweight, like Joe has been at supper-middleweight and went on to win a heavyweight title. What's stopping Joe?????

1. Joe wouldn't murder anybody and specially not Floyd. Those 200 mythical punches Joe landed on Hopkins were pitty patts.......I didn't even notice them.Calzaghe would absolutely murder mayweather. 2. Sure he has........he only waited a decade too long to take the challange of coming over to America and fighting the best around his weight class whether middleweight or light-heavy.Comment

Floyds already moved up 5 weights since he started though, 7 would be way to much. That is very evident looking at the mass of his body.No this is the reason why we have All-Time great fighters who transcend weight (Pernell, Toney, Jones, Leonard) and move up to become multi-division champions and we have just barely great fighters like Joe Calzaghe - who hang around for a decade in the same weight class defending a WBO title.

Exactly
Calzaghe is not a HW, he could not go to HW it is insane to sujest he could.Comment

What has fighting in america got to do with being great? Its a world wide sport not an american sport.1. Joe wouldn't murder anybody and specially not Floyd. Those 200 mythical punches Joe landed on Hopkins were pitty patts.......I didn't even notice them.
