The 10th round against Tito. Great round, high workrate.
This is not the Hopkins you saw last night.

Isolated rounds, or even isolated fights, are not proof that Hopkins ever had a high work rate and Hopkins himself admits that he has never had an especially high work rate. The 10th round against Tito. Great round, high workrate.

I asked my boxing coach. He said you are wrong.
Yes, Holyfield's peak is yet to come...Comment

The point is not high work rate as Benny never had a high rate but he definitely had a much higher rate than he has now ,,,, and lets face facts here if he had a higher rate in this fight he wins .Comment

No fighter is ever in their prime at age 43. Really, it seems amazing that this is being debated.
Im not incredibly impressed with Hopkins record or anything, but he clearly looked way better between the Trinidad and Glen Johnson fights than he did at old age. between that time, it was rare that he lost rounds, even if his competition wasnt outstanding. after that time, he was losing rounds to guys like Jermain Taylor, Howard Eastman, a blown up Oscar De La Hoya, and I thought he lost against a blown up Winky Wright.
clearly, he is not in his prime.
this is Hopkins at his best
this is Hopkins when he was getting on in years. you wouldnt see him fight so lousy when he was younger...
hehe, I love this damn video. cant help but to show it any chance I get.
anyways, Hopkins was better in his prime than when he was an old man. I dont know how this is even debatable.Comment
