He was mediocre at best just like the rest of the Middleweight pool at the time that is why it was possible for little men to invade that territory.
Or are you telling me that it was talent rich at the time?

Hopkins had an easy pool to play with for a long time once Roy moved up.
That is another factor with Hopkins , he spouts all this horse**** but he has never ever avenged his losses.
He stayed at a weight class where it was safe instead of chasing the bigger challenges at 168 & 175.
He finally moved up when the easy shot at Tarver was there for the taking.
And now he knows if he loses to Calzaghe he will have the automatic Father time excuse.
