WHAT IM SAYING IS LOUIS WAS OLDER THEN CHARLES, AND LOUIS BEAT WALCOTT TWICE,AND WALCOTT BEAT CHARLES TWICE,SO OBVIOUSLY LOUIS HAD AN OFF NIGHT WITH CHARLES, MAYBE CAUSE HE WAS TIRED, CAUSE HE WAS OLD

Ali's speed would overwhelm Louis, Juy. And Ali getting broken down by body punches? Would Louis' body attack really compare to Fraizer's or Foreman's? Different eras man.

Timing beats speed, and Joe Louis' jab beats Ali's lean-back. And what do you mean by different eras as if Frazier must have hit harder than Louis because of timezone? Every one of Louis's body blows were crippling to a human man, whereas Frazier landed around 1000 a fight in accumulation.

you gotta look at ali frazier 1

and louis conn 1 and figure out an outcome from there in my opinion.i go with louis cause he wasn't just a left hooker like frazier.

Liston had good timing, and a better jab. Ali danced around that with ease.

Different eras isn't in regards to his punching power necessarily. Louis' opponents were smaller, the bigger fighters weren't as well schooled. Ali was bigger and had more speed than Billy Conn who gave Louis fits.

No, Rocky Marciano was the greatest heavyweight of all time.

It can be very reasonably argued that Joe is the best ever at Heavy, as well as Ali, Marciano, and Lewis. It is really a matter of speculation, and preference since none ever fought the other at all or prime 4 prime ala marciano-louis! for me it's marciano because the man never lost, and with that i can not call anyone better than him.
