Dont forget completely outboxed by Michael Nunn before the KO

The same Floyd Mayweather that almost got knocked out by the bum known as Demarcus Corley? Yeah, you can do that to anyone. Doesn't change the fact that Toney is twice the fighter Mayweather could ever hope to be.

Almost knocked out? Just how many rounds did you have Corley winning in that fight?

I gave you fights that Toney actually LOST. You came back with one fight where Floyd was rattled for a couple of seconds. And that "bum" Corley was much better than Drake Thadzi or Dave Tiberi. Believe me, if you keep digging this hole will only get bigger.

Having different opinions is great. Dealing with irrational people is another thing altogether.

I was making a point. Knocking James Toneys greatness for losing fights where he came in unprepared and overweight, is no different then making fun of Floyd for nearly getting knocked out by a ****** punch against a c- fighter.

Its ******. Go into any boxing gym in the country, and ask the trainers about James Toney. I guarantee you that none of them have ANYTHING bad to say about how good he was.

Very skilled, but remains one of the most overrated fighters of modern times. People look at his shoulder roll and think he's the best technical fighter to ever live, and don't look at the fact that he lost to guys like Dave Tiberi(a C level nobody), Montell Griffin twice, was given a bit of a gift in one of his fights with an old McCallum, and got schooled terribly in his fight with best fighter he faced, Roy Jones.

He's had some good performances. Barkley, and the win over Nunn was good, but he's not that good people.

Of course his fans will now come in with "Whenever Toney lost, it was because he was unmotivated. Whenever he was hit or did something slightly wrong in the ring, it was because he didn't have the motivation to move out of the way in that particular sequence."

Ok. Make sure you ask them if Toney was a better fighter than Mayweather or Leonard.

And these same people wouldn't say anything bad about Floyd and SRL either.
No one is arguing that James Toney isn't a great fighter, just saying people are better.

Corley rocked Cotto too, so what. Floyd knocked his ass down twice in the 8th and 10th and I believe it was a whitewash on the cards. I don't even think they gave Corley a round in that fight.

                      Scott is right. Game over.
