chavez in his prime destroys floyd just like he destroyed everyone else.
don't forget floyd lost the first fight with castillo, chavez sparring partner

floyd is very comparable, only better, than meldrick taylor. speed, movement skill etc. chavez annilated taylor twice

mayweather and taylor are just fast guys who medaled during their olympic games.

            that's where the comparisons end.

taylor had a better workrate, threw quicker combos on the inside, and had 1/100th of the ring discipline of mayweather.

mayweather was smarter, better defensively, and picked his punches with more careful selection.

Mayweather would fight differently than Taylor did. I don't see Mayweather throwing 90+ punches per round like Taylor did.

i agree mayweather is a much smarter fighter and would fight differently. but just like mayweather avoided casamayor he would avoid chavez.

He fought guys his size in the beginning of his career, as he moved up. He fought a couple of smaller guys, EVERYONE does. Then, he fought Hopkins, Sturm and Trinidad. Guys who are naturally BIGGER then he is. So, that might help answer your question.

That's not what the question was. We were talking about the best 140 pounders. Chavez has done more and better work at 140 that Floyd does. So, he's the better 140 pounder. All there is to it. It's not even an argument.

de la fishnet was big in those weight classes.

he's fought numerous guys moving up in weight.

de la fishnet was bigger than all his opponents at 130, 135, and 140.
