You forget that De La Hoya absolutely destroyed Arturo Gatti, they aren't in the same league.

      machine~

you are helping my case. this is another perfect example of oscar picking on small fighters and his bitchness.

gatti was the much smaller man 5'7" vs oscar at 5'11" and he had NEVER had a welter weight fight before signing to fight oscar at 147. oscar had been at this weight for 5 years. gatti was shot by the time oscar fought him, he was much smaller and oscar dictated all the fight terms.

no risk, big payday as usual.

i respect your opinion but will never agree. to be considered a great fighter you have to beat a great fighter. tell me which great fighter does oscar have a victory over. and don't try to use chavez or whitaker both of whom were way past their prime and whitaker got shafted anyway.

that is why i put oscar in the same category as gatti. gatti has fought great fighters but like oscar always loses. gatti has shown more blood and guts though....

just cuz gatti took all those ****ing punches makes his have more heart and guts

DLH was smart and not ****** like gatti to take all those damn punches.

and wh yargue is ur opinion wil not get changed

and chavez was not waaay past his prime when he fought scar the first time he was 34 which DLH was when he fought mayweather so thats a dumb reason to not be able to u se it and pernell whitaker is a great and didn't fight de la hoya cuz de la hoya was still working his way up and pernell was 33 when he fought DLH so he wasn't way past his prime at all.

he got robbed with trinidad which of course u will deny because im sure u haven't seen the fight in a long azz time and prolly just think about the running in the last FOUR round but what about the first 8 round homie.

he beat ike quartey which u continue to say he REALLY lost but he still got it and it shows alot of heart in that fight so ur dumb reason of him not having HEART is ****in ******

he fought camacho as well who IMO is a great nobody likes him but regardless he is still great

he fought jorge paez who is another mexican GREAT and he knocked his out in the second round with a PERFECT BODY SHOT that had his azz lookin like he was crying

seriously how does he not have heart

and why would he be so famous if he's not a GREAT fighter

next thing u will say Sugar ray leonard was not a good fight either

arturo gatti challenged him so how is he picking on smaller people

and no risk he went on to fight ward which i think was a risk and that was after DLH so u make it say liek DLH only picks easy fight

and i noticed u sad DLH a ***** for not giving hopkins a rematch

U HAVE TO BE ****ING KIDDING ME

WHY WOULD HE GIVE HOPKINS A REMATCH if hopkins won

thats liek hatton wanting a rematch it's ******

arturo gatti is a natural lightweight. and just like mayweather said bfore they fought; "gatti is a "C" fighter". you have a big c fighter, oscar, fighting a much smaller c fighter, gatti.

put it this way, had trinidad announced he was fighing gatti back in 2000 would anyone had even given gatti a prayer to win? but oscar fights him and it's an acheivement. give me a break.

trinidad is a legend. maybe the top puerto rican fighter of all time.

while your boy oscar is picking on hatton, maywether and pac-man. my man trinidad comes out of retirement and signs to fight RJJ in his first fight back. trinidad's got stones. trinidad also says that he wants the hopkins rematch after he KOS RJJ.

oscar says after pac man he wants donaire in a real toe to toe war.

now I know both RJJ and Tito are a little past their primes and this fight would have had more drama 5 years ago but would anyone argue that tito isn't a top 5 jr middle and that RJJ is a top 5 super middle?

...............Ass. Mayweather, the best JR Welterweight in history? Get the **** outta here.. Chavez, Pryor could beat Mayweather at 140.
I am a HUGE chave/chavez jr fan. Chavez sr is the first and only boxer i ever knew of for the first 3 years of being a boxing fan and i myself must say that chavez would not be floyd.
