i understand what you are saying but...
trust me, that was'nt an easy fight. Watch it again and there is no way he should have got through those first 3 rounds that took heart i dont care what anyone says.

i also say it because he is a jr middle - middle weight and goes around calling out jr welters (mayweather/hatton) and jr. lights (paquiao).

why don't he man up and give hopkins a rematch? or call out spinks, forrest, karmizan, taylor, pavlik or ANY fighter his size?

at a minimum at least have big enough stones and sign to fight Cotto. But you see that would be asking too much of Oscar. After Cotto UD Shane, Oscar knows Cotto would put it on his ass. And it wouldn't be the loss that I'd have a problem with it's that Oscar wouldn't stand and fight with him like Shane did. Like true, real mexican fighters do, such as my man Tapia.

even like your boy ricky hatton. ricky got beat but went out on his shield like a warrior, a fighter. and after didn't make excuses.

do you remember Oscar after his second loss to Shane saying "i'm gonna have my lawyers start an investigation into the shady judging tonight". that is the kind of **** that is so irritating about oscar.

what about an investigation regartding the shady judging of the sturm, quartey or whitaker fights? where are his lawyers?

you just proved my point. he never would have fought a prime chavez, ever. chavez had damn near 100 PRO FIGHTS by the time Oscar "challenged" him.

he got schooled by whitaker, rROBBED quartey, straight out ran from trinidad, got spanked by sturm, took a bull**** dive against hopkins, lost twice to shane and then tops it all off with a spanking from a jr welter. and now he wants to fight ricky hatton or pacquaio. the dudes a joke.....

i stand corrected. his fight prior to hatton was 154 and mayweather walks around at 146 making him a jr welter.

I stand corrected again. Your right, arturo gatti has shown more blood and guts than Oscar. I meant no disrespect to Gatti.

                    as far as:
"Rather than fearing death, a Mexican ' chases after it, mocks it, courts it, embraces it, sleeps with it; it is his favorite plaything and most lasting love" -

that statement is full of more bull**** than Oscars victory over Sturm.

Oscar calling himself a Jr. Middleweight is like Floyd Mayweather calling himself a welterweight.

Technically, okay, you are a Jr. Middleweight, but we all know you don't belong there any more than Floyd belongs at 147.
