why do people try to take awys from either of these fighters. So mosely wasn't in his prime, so what, that doesn't mean that he still isn't a heck of a fighter. Cotto impressed me with his ability to take a punch, his timing and his speed both looked greatly improved since the judah fight. True de la hoya might have past his prime too but i don't think there were any welter's on may 5th that could have won that fight other than floyd. Why do people seem to forget that floyd had no business fighting at jr middle and that is why on fight night he weighed the same as he would have for a fight at 147. Shane and Oscar may not be great anymore but they are both still good, there is no need to act like they are bums.

Now seriously people how can you NOT look fast vs a 36 year old opponent? How?

I'm just making a point, because I can. The ring had some guy there that scored it for Mosley, but admitted it could have gone either way. At the end of the day Floyd won a SD and Cotto won a UD so I'd rather we don't bull**** about one winning by less than another.

Cotto was sensational, but Mosley was subpar. Again, if someone of Shane Mosley's caliber needs basic instruction on Boxing fundamentals there's something wrong with the picture. Shane was very easy to hit - more so than normal, and his reflexes and timing were up and down, up and down. Specifically, Shane Mosley was very sporadic against Cotto. Inconsistent. Even dreamy, and out of it.. I don't think he's shot, old, or any of that business - but he had a ****ty night. That we can be sure of.

This is Boxing. The whole idea is to be sharp. Anything less than that is imminent disaster. Cotto was sharp. I'll tell you that..
