Would love to see this fight happen, if Flyod beats Cotto I think he is the best P4P out there right now but if Flyod beats Cotto and then moves on to beat Margarito or Paul Williams I would say he is the best boxer I have ever seen!!!! With that being said I don't think Flyod can beat any of the three but his best chance is Cotto. I don't see how Flyod or Cotto can beat Margarito or Williams with there size for the division!!!!

So this tells us Floyd does not how to read or guage the ring assets Cotto. I think it's safe to say that deep down inside Floyd is intrigued by and concerned by Cotto.

His way of ducking/hiding from the danger of Cotto is to say he's bored and pondering retirement - which is a shelter from Cotto. Clever Floyd is probably secretly praying on his knees that Cotto loses to someone like Margarito or Clottey and then he'll be safe.

But Cotto vs. Floyd is the fight that must be made, must be demanded by the public, must be demanded to HBO. It is just like at the same stage in early 1981 where Leonard vs. Hearns was. which turned out to be an all time classic.

I agree, in the 80's, everybody fought everyone. Duran, SRL, Hagler, Hearns,
the **** was awesome. But I think Cotto vs. Mayweather WILL happen. There is obviously a lot of intrest in this fight, a lot of money to be made. Thats why I think the fight will be made, if Money May lives up to his moniker, it is a no lose situation. Because Mayweather will beat Cotto. I have no doubts about this.
