Thank you fiend----what's funny is that arum could come out of his own pocket to pay manny supposedly 10 million which came to be 6 million but not with Floyd. I saw Arum's point at first.
Floyd made 5 million against gatti---his highest to date at that time until the Judah fight.....but Floyd knew him fighting cotto would sell big, especially at that time..sounds crazy' but cotto had a big following...hatton first..cotto first.....2 undefeated fighters back 2 back after margarito? The potential for big money was there....then Oscar.....Floyd knew what he was doing.......arum could have made bank.....but he wasn't sure and didn't want to go through it with Oscar, especially at that time but a fight of that magnitude, especially with those scenarios I just put out there, could've put egos aside.....
Arum is a savvy vet.....he's stuck in his pride....Floyd had to escape him......and look how everything played out....
Undisputed ww champion baldomir for 12 million--seeing how he went with goosen promotions for that fight...

Eventually cotto for 32 million...maybe up to 45 million after ppv buys...
