Paraphrasing now, but what he said was basically, What happens to RJJ when his athletiscim fails him? Does he have the fundamentals?

Mayweather has the knowledge, technical skill, and hunger to fight another big fight. And win. Easily over Cotto. Mayweather knows it. You know it. If you don't know it, step in line. It will be another lesson in the sweet science.

Technically, yes, he is a master boxer which is why he is able to adapt. So are you seeing the same thing, that "physically" he may have declined...related to age/30, increased weight, and injuries?

I'm telling you, when DLH fought JCC, all I heard from Mexican fans was, "DLH, he isn't a true Mexican, JCC is going to..." this and that.

But when DLH fought Mayweather, the Mexican folks were ALL about waving their flags, Norte and Sureno's were holding hands, and carne asada was the password.

No. If it were, he'd of been irrelevant after the Hopkins loss. At that point, he'd of been done. Clearly, people still care enough about the guy.

He's been given the shaft in a lot of fights, got the decision here and there where he didn't deserve it (I don't count the Sturm fight, because I don't like his entire compaign at middleweight.) Nonetheless, to act as if he's only been successful outside of the ring, in terms of major ways, is crazy.
