Well, everyone wants to see Floyd/Cotto. But if Floyd is AWOL, Oscar is not a terrible replacement.

Ricky didn't see that punch coming on Saturday, therefore, straight into the ****in' ringpost he went, and Floyd ain't known for power, hell, Ricky took Kostya's and Cool Vince's best shots. Floyd caught him by surprise. So back to the subject, Floyd see's everything coming, It'll be hard to hurt him, unless ur super fast, ala Zab Judah. Cotto won't hurt Floyd.

Cotto needs to make some money, and a name for himself and fight Oscar before he falls off the map after losing to Floyd. If he don't take the Oscar fight, someone else will. Now who is most deserving to make all those millions???? I think Cotto is.
agreed, and its only natural to overate cotto. everyone wants to see floyd lose so they convince themselves that someone can. you know who can beat floyd? kelly pavlik

Well that's cause youre blind lol. Cotto landed flush power shot after flush power shot. And if you missed that, just take a look at Shanes corner during the fight, that should explain what you missed.

You're either 60 years old and senial, or just flat out ******ed lol. I mean even I wouldn't choose a winner of this fight. I just know Cotto can win this, and if he wins it easily, I won't be surprised.

lol If you "knew" anything about Boxing, you'd know Oscar's power and Cotto's power comepletely different. Cotto's power is quick and short, Oscar's power is slightly slower and longer.

Technically you'd be done with yourself for admitting that Cotto, the new young talent, is weaker then a old Oscar who fights at weight class thats too heavy even for him..lol

You're probably one of those morons that think this Hatton bout was legitimate, completely oblivious to the fact Hatton is no more then a Hype-Job.. lol yeah kiddo, if anyone is done with anything, I think I'm pretty much done with you

haha, hatton is a hype job and cotto isnt? you are such a hyporcite. nobody gives floyd credit for beating judah, but i bet you want credit for that. and cotto beats a 36 year old mosely. **** with those two wins why isnt he in the discussion for goat? you are a ****ing ******. i know you want floyd to lose but you dont have to be such a ****** about it.

Cotto is a hard consistant puncher; Oscar is a fast, concussive puncher, who used to throw in combination (lethal). I think at this point Cotto throws more, giving him more opportunity. But, when is the last one punch KD or KO Cotto had? Oscar has put many a fool down with one shot. They are different in terms of power, but both equally dangerous.

Are you serious? lol You can't be...Hatton can't compete at this level, you ****in kiddin me? Hey kiddo, there's a reason why Cotto is number 2 and why Hatton got KO'ed by a feather fisted decision maker.

And everyone gave Mayweather credit for getting past Judah, **** I did. I made posts on how amazing that was to see. To see Floyd gettin backed up and eating quick left hands, that was an amazing fight. But Cotto did dispose of Judah in better fashion, Cotto is number 2, lol and despite what delusions you have...Cotto is light years beyond Hatton.

It's funny how an Oscar - Cotto thread has turned into a what if Floyd - Cotto discussion. Floyd Cotto aint happening any time soon. They all know what is going to take place. Cotto and Oscar will fight on Cinco de Mayo and create millions (20 episodes of 24/7) Then Floyd will make his return next year and fight the winner for the richest payday in boxing history thanks to 40 episodes of 24/7. Anyway, Cotto vs Oscar is a good fight, and I don't think it will make it to the final bell.

dude, Floyd is the one who said "I wont fight Cotto even if he beats Mosley."

I think the winner of this fight will depend on what weight they're fighting at. At 147 I think Cotto would win, at 154 DLH would win. If Cotto wins this fight he'll become a superstar and Floyd can't say Cotto doesn't make financial sense anymore. Wonder if he has any other excuses?
