On the other hand Cotto has the stamina to beat Floyd and i im pretty sure Floyd couldnt handle Cotto's Power.

Cotto is a more refined version of Hatton hes real strong at Welterweight and even Jr. Middle. Cotto's power is far more powerful than Hatton and over the years and the last few fights Cotto's boxing skills have increased a lot.

And i dont want to see Oscar lose again so i hope he fights someone else than cotto because i want cotto to fight floyd.
wtf have you been smokin ???

Oscar still has the attention of the non boxing fans.. So monetarily Cotto/Delahoya makes sense. But with Oscars half hearted effort verses PBF it left many fans, me included, with a sour taste in our mouth. This is being promoted so Floyd will have no choice but to come out of retirement and face Cotto if Cotto should win. The flip side if Oscar wins will have the whole Welterwieght division in cluster**** mode. Oscar does have a chance although very slim one in defeating Miguel at this stage of his career. He has a punchers chance at least. It's not Cotto vs Mayweather but it might be the next best thing.... or the only thing we fans will get.

See i feel Cotto is a bad match up for Floyd. But Oscar could well do the business over him.

Oscar should seriously think about Paul Williams, I mean at this point in Oscar's career, it's known he'll give you a fight even if he loses a decision. And ontop of that, those lanky arms will grant Oscar more oppertunities then Cotto's short quick power shots.
That IS what is happening, if Cotto fights Oscar and wins in a fight that would hit close to a million buys than Cotto will be a MUCH bigger name. A big enough name to challenge Floyd for an even bigger showdown.

glad to see that my boy's going to get his biggest payday and biggest win to date, however, beating mosley (amongst the hardcore) will ALWAYS trump beating ODLH. ODLH, obviously, isn't what he used to be.

hopefully he shrinks down to 147 to accomodate cotto - but i don't think he will, or without a big fuss; at 154, this fight becomes more competitive.

either way, can't see how odlh can cope at this juncture, either weight, a win for cotto.

Yeah but what if Cotto loses? Floyd's already fighting nobodys and hype jobs, if Cotto loses that would just further ensure that there wouldn't be a fight between Cotto and Mayweather. Too risky, especially when you're starring at a possible bout with Mayweather, a fight Cotto can win.

The entire boxing community with the exception of his nutt huggers are pushing for a Cotto/Mayweather bout. I'd say there's a good chance it will happen in '08.
