On the other hand Cotto has the stamina to beat Floyd and i im pretty sure Floyd couldnt handle Cotto's Power.

Cotto is a more refined version of Hatton hes real strong at Welterweight and even Jr. Middle. Cotto's power is far more powerful than Hatton and over the years and the last few fights Cotto's boxing skills have increased a lot.

And i dont want to see Oscar lose again so i hope he fights someone else than cotto because i want cotto to fight floyd.
can i ask how you are pretty sure floyd couldnt handle cottos power when floyd has never been seriously hurty in a fight? sounds like you are talking out of your ass but maybe you know something i dont.

for ****s sake are yiu guys criticising this match up ******ed???if cotto beats dlh, he becomesa superstar and mayweathers sure next opponent.....if oscar wins, he deserves to get big paydays......theres nothing to lose with mayweathers temporary retirment because he is not looking at cotto right now....but a cotto with a win over de la hoya and the fame and money it brings would make that fight happen...and if oscar wins, then he deserves the fights you guys say he doesnt....

WTF, speaking of Zab judah I ain't know he was scheduled to face Carlos Quintana on Febuary 16th..

This is not a gimme fight for Cotto. Oscar can win this one. The fight would make money, make Cotto a household name, and surely bring Floyd out of retirement, especially if Cotto beats Oscar in impressive fashion. If Oscar wins everyone will put him back on top, just like they did when he beat Mayorga. This would lead to another huge payday fight for Floyd and Oscar, possibly 50/50. Now tell me if that wouldn't bring Floyd back.

since when is it about people having nothing to lose and not a person DESERVING a fight? name one thing Oscar has done since robbing Felix Sturm that makes him eligible for such a high profile fight? what, his name? that is a good enough credential? **** outta here with that ****, a win over Oscar of today wont do **** for Cotto because all he is is a shell of his former self, and 50% version of a fighter from 10 years ago, times moves on and it moved for Oscar so he should just step the **** aside and allow for real contenders to dance with the champion, deserving people who fought their way up the Welterweight ranks and didn't just move back down from a weight where they got sent back down from..

lol Floyd has never taken a risk to fight a guy like Cotto, of course he hasnt been hurt. He fights hype-jobs and champions that havent won belts in like 5 years. I mean everyone remembers the first half of the Judah fight, Judah was landing that straight left and it took 5 rounds for Mayweather to turn on.

Cotto on the other hand, destroys the likes of fighters that Floyd has faced. You can't really think anyone in the welterweight division can take Cotto's shots continuously
