Don't get me wrong. I agree that a Cotto fight makes big money, so it should make 'sense' to Mayweather as he likes to say, but if Oscar fought me we would do a million PPV buys. Your statement that Cotto and Oscar would sell a million is pretty meaningless. Comparing a Cotto-v-ODLH fight with the Floyd-v-Judah really is comparing apples to oranges. Also, as much as I have argued in the past about Mayweather's exaggerated drawing power (he was not a draw before the Oscar fight), the exposure from his last two fights really has raised his star and drawing power.

I agree with those people who say that Floyd is just going to sit back for a little bit (no way is he sitting for anywhere close two years) while the whole Cotto idea heats up. As much as I am loathe to admit this, Floyd's not a dumbass, so he definitely sees the money potential of a match with Cotto. Beyond that, he knows he can win this fight.

The only reason Arum and Cotto's camp are taking shots is because Floyd said he wants to take a break from boxing.
What they should do is just shut up and focus on making a fight to get Cotto in position to face Mayweather, like by having him fight some of the other top welterweights.

Also, Bob Arum is retarted. If he thinks he is going to goad Floyd into fighting Cotto, he is very wrong. If I were Floyd I would tell Cotto's camp that I would make the fight under the condition that Cotto drops Arum as a promoter, just to see how serious Cotto is about this one.

That is a terrible argument, Floyd is clearly the more intellegent fighter in the ring and is extremly versatile, he can adapt and change his style at any point in the fight.

Floyd said he was taking a break from the sport before the Hatton fight, and just because a couple of immature internet message board trollers (aka you) say hes ducking, or afraid, certianly doesnt mean he is.
