Floyd is a far more popular fighter than Hatton on a world stage though.
Without a doubt the 2nd most popular fighter in the world.
Where are you getting your facts?

The point is that is doesn't mean a thing when Ricky can't sell or make ppv. He's a hometown colosseum-type gladiator, not a mainstream entertainer or star attraction..
ricky cant sell or make a PPV? lets agree to disagree i cant be bothered with you

I'm not concerned. Overall, Floyd is more infamous world-wide than Ricky is famous. British fans have less to look up to so when a star emerges in such a relatively small country, they are relatively more notable. At the end of the day, just as many people in America probably know who Floyd is as there are people in Britain (at least half). Nobody in America knows Hatton, he's being introduced on 24/7.

either way you look at it, to have 20,000 fans travelling just before xmas is pretty dam impressive and its good for boxing
It's not impressive compared to 2 million pay per view sales and an all-time record. When's the last time Ricky sold out in 30 minutes for a fight?

I can Assure you.. Per capita.. That the UK will produce way More Buys than the USA on this fight..

20000 buys in the UK = 100000 buys In the USA..

to be honest, none of rickys fights would be PPV here without a mayweather to put him on. if the castillo/collazo/urango fights were PPV here the numbers would be god awful. Ricky is an unknown here and the people that do know him arent crazy about him.

Can you prove this assertion wrong or not? When was his last ppv before Floyd Mayweather and how much did he sell? There is no agree to disagree, either you're/I'm right or wrong.

mayweather is mostly huge in the black and hip hop community, by hip hop community i mean people who are into the music and culture that arent just black, hes also very respected among other american atheletes, but thats pretty much where it ends when it comes to popularity.

Ricky's never even had a ppv and nobody in the states knows him. Floyd is definitely the draw. 20,000 fans is chump change compared to 2 million pay per views.

Hatton has made and sold PPVs in his last five fights in the UK.
