You will note, that at the time of the Hatton fight Tszyu was top ten p4p (2001-2004). Oscar cannot make that claim at the time he fought Floyd. Furthermore, Tszyu had just six months earlier destroyed Sharmba Mitchell in 3 rounds. On the other hand, Oscar at 154 was beaten around. Therefore, reasonable evidence exists to justify the assumption. Oscar has lost alot of vitality in the last few years, he's clearly on the slide. On the other hand, Tszyu had retained a large portion of his skills and ferocity by the time he got to Hatton.

Accordingly, let's view Hatton's win over Tszyu in the light it deserves. This clip shows how ferocious and relentless that Brit really is. And, he was up against a HOF fighter who still had gas in the tank:

Mayweatherites, if you think Floyd Mayweather is in for a walk in the park, then I suspect you in for a very unpleasant surprise. That is Hatton at his finest and most fierce.

      Pick: Hatton

Can U admit that a much younger Tszyu would have beaten Hatton?? Or is Hatton just a better fighter??? Either way PBF beats them both in they're prime

Well, KT fought Phillips didn't he?? Floyd didn't fight Tszyu, did he???
If you want to get childish about it, then go for it. I don't even really know what you're trying to prove, except to run down Tszyu, which is all you do. AND don't give me any of that heresay horsecrap about how you were there, know the trainers, had lunch with Kostya's butler, etc....that's crap here on the site! Stick with the facts. The facts are he had just consolidated the JRWW belts for the first time in 30 years, consolidated his status into the HOF, and was undefeated for 8 years by the time he fought Hatton! NOW THOSE ARE FACTS.

I won't quibble with you anymore about this, Rod.

If you dont understand the role 14 pnds in weight plays at this level of boxing you are following the wrong sport .
Could Hatton give Kostya 14 lbs in weight ,,,, you know as well as I do what happens .

After watching that vid, i am sadly convinced PBF will beat Hatton. I actually think Hattons onslaught will bring out the best in PBF. He can take all Hattons shots, and Hatton has been hurt several times in the past.

I think if they go toe to toe PBF can outpunch Hatton. I hope im wrong and Hatton breaks Floyd down, but i cant see it.

"Either way PBF beats them both in their prime" LOL

Well we will never know about Tszyu will we?? But we can look at the Judah fight for instance for clues. Judah fought Tszyu and Judah was knocked out in 2. Judah fought Floyd and Judah lost a UD. There is a distinguishable difference there.

And as to Hatton, well December 8th will tell the tale.

AS to the real question that you've been wanting to ask me for 2 nights...ie...was prime Tszyu better than prime Hatton? IN my view Tszyu was better. I completely agree with many experts that place Tszyu in top 3 Jr. WWs of modern times. I agree because I was there. I'm not basing this on a review of clips and stats 5 years after the fact. However, after having said this let me qualify this by saying the jury is still out on Hatton. IF he beats Floyd, depending upon the manner, and based upon future activity, this opinion could change.

You are entitled to your opinion. But it is an interesting clip isn't it?

That is as weak as piss Wiley ,,, your answer to him running from Phillips is that he fought him before he found out he his going to get KOed , are you for real ,,, why did he not want to rematch Phillips after the beating he got thats the qusetion , I know why and so do you ,, you just cant bare to say the words .

If Floyd quit and was beaten by a nobody , you would crucify him in thread after thread , yet you act like it never happened with KT and that my friend is a direct showing of your lack substance

I have no idea why Phillips and Tszyu didn't get it on again. Maybe you should ask Tszyu for an answer. But, until then you just continue to imply and insinuate what you want. I really don't care. And, I don't think it's relevant. Got it? It's your lack of substance that is showing here. We're talking about the vitality of Tszyu during the Hatton fight in 2005 and you're running around screaming about Phillips. So what? Get a life.
