Prior threads started by Dios Dominicano et al....have reasonably established that Hatton beating Tszyu was a greater achievement than Floyd beating Oscar De La Hoya. You will note, that at the time of the Hatton fight Tszyu was top ten p4p (2001-2004). Oscar cannot make that claim at the time he fought Floyd. Furthermore, Tszyu had just six months earlier destroyed Sharmba Mitchell in 3 rounds. On the other hand, Oscar at 154 was beaten around. Therefore, reasonable evidence exists to justify the assumption. Oscar has lost alot of vitality in the last few years, he's clearly on the slide. On the other hand, Tszyu had retained a large portion of his skills and ferocity by the time he got to Hatton.
Accordingly, let's view Hatton's win over Tszyu in the light it deserves. This clip shows how ferocious and relentless that Brit really is. And, he was up against a HOF fighter who still had gas in the tank:
Mayweatherites, if you think Floyd Mayweather is in for a walk in the park, then I suspect you in for a very unpleasant surprise. That is Hatton at his finest and most fierce.
Pick: Hatton
