[QUOTE=DIOS DOMINICANO;2659137]Look at you backpedaling already.
Regarding the "Harris is elite" comment you keep referring to. Here is what I said:
Ricky Hatton has been at 140 for ten years and somehow has found a way to avoid fighting any prime , elite fighter. I then listed the guys who I felt consisted of the lion's share of the elite fighters at 135-140 for the past decade: Corley, lazcano, castillo, tszyu, Casamayor, Judah, gatti, Freitas, Ndou, malignaggi, mayweather, witter, cotto, etc, etc... HATTON HAS NOT FOUGHT A SINGLE ONE OF THOSE GUYS IN THEIR PRIME DESPITE BEING AT 140 FOR A DECADE. That is 40+ fights.
I remember you saying. It's actually black on white somewhere in your posts that Witter had one more thing than Hatton, a win over a prime and elite fighter. You were talking of course about Harris. Harris who got knocked out silly by Mausa, and then struggled I believe against Lazcano.
The fighters that you have listed are all elite. You've stated it clearly. But at the same time when you talk about Floyd and Hatton you're saying that Hatton is not an elite fighter. You mean to say that N'Dou who has lost to everybody good and bad, and Malignaggi who defeated N'dou are elite and Hatton isn't. You actually have Gatti there too. You're always on Gatti's case that he is a C fighter and I agree but now to have a better argument you have him as an elite fighter.Comment

You gonna bait me again. Listen! What I think is not important right now. What I am saying is that you're showing your appreciationg towards great fighters in a wrong way. You're taking a short-cut by putting other fighters down in order to elevate your favourite fighters. To answer your question. There are plenty of good to great white champions and contenders right now.Comment

Pesto,
Understand what I'm saying:
Is Hatton an elite 140er (tops in that division)? HELL YEAH. He is THE elite 140er.
Is Hatton an elite fighter ( an A-level boxer)? No. I think he is a B-level fighter.Comment

[QUOTE=pesticid;2659194]To write off the Tszyu win is going too far. That was Hatton's most impressive performance IMO, even if Tszyu was slowing down (and that's a debatable question on its own). I really don't see how Mayweather's competition can be said to be better than Hatton's. That argument doesn't make sense. Mayweather's record is so full of padding. LOL But, the great thing about this fight is that the padding stops here, for both guys.Look at you backpedaling already.

If Hatton makes it a competitive fight - winning 4 or 5 rounds - then I will be on here on Dec 9th saying that Hatton was a better fighter than i thought.
If Hatton gets dominated , well.... let's just say that the Hatton fans will try to have me banned. That's how much I will gloat.
Fair deal?Comment

Now YOU are contradicting yourself, to the extent where I might as well call you a liar. You should know EXACTLY what I am talking about, becuase
we spoke about this before and you backpeddled on saying Mayweather didn't fight anybody. Now you are back on it? If you think he doesn't than say so but don't go back and forth with your convictions, it just makes you contradict yourself.Comment
