I really think a Pavlik KO is likely. Even Winky had Jermain hurt. And Hopkins almost had him out in their first fight. Just can not overlook the fact that Taylor is easy to hit. I don't think anyone can dispute that. And his power doesn't seem that strong either. He hit Spinks with some flush shots and couldn't even put him down once.

      The book? You mean boxrec.

Because that's far from official. For instance it doesn't list the knockdowns in the Quartey/De La Hoya fight. End of story.

So, what are you saying? That Pavlik actually was knocked down? If it happened I must have missed it and officially it never happened. Maybe the stats are wrong, but I can only go by what's in the stats unless I saw it for myself. That's why I was asking if this "knockdown" was ruled a slip or something.

Those stats are wrong, from what I've read Taylor has the longer reach even though he is a shorter guy.

There are some bandwagon Pavlik fans who immediately came out of nowhere when he KO'd Miranda, I know about Pavlik since his Pro debut, heard about him his amatuer background and started following him, He has been knocked down 3 times, by McKart, Zuniga and Zertuche but never hurt all of them were flash knockdowns, He lost to Taylor in the amatuers by decision and Taylor is aware of his style, I am also aware of Pavliks style since I have been watching him for a long time, and on 29th September Taylor will show Pavlik's flaws. By the way I'm a fan of both, 2 years back I posted a thread here on boxingscene about some new Prospects that will make it big and I named Pavlik one of them because I knew he has a good future and he will beat anyone else in the middleweight division including Wright, but styles make fights and Taylor has a history with Pavlik, at the time I posted about Pavlik he was just a Prospect who was 23-0 , I just dont think he can beat Taylor (Although I would want him too since Taylor has been giving some crap performances lately, but who would'nt when they face 3 southpaws in a row, no other fighter has faced southpaw's back to back). Southpaw's are difficult to fight.

I really WANT Pavlik to win. Simply because he is EXCITING and will bring more to the sport than Taylor who lately just cares about "money in the bank" and driving his lambo to fight blown up welterweights and super middles. Pavlik is good for boxing.

The Boxingscene stats always have things wrong. They listed Hatton as never being down.

A Lot Of Ppl Jumping On Pavlik's Bandwagon. When Used To Browse On Here No Ever Pulled Him Outta Their Ass, Until He Beat Miranda. Taylor Will Break Alot Of Hearts, In Less Than 2 Weeks.
