I'd also point out that Taylor has the better defense and is more athletic.

I'll be cheering for Pavlik though.

Also, I think Taylor has taken some big shots before, so I wouldn't go as far to say his chin is untested. I do recall him getting rocked and appeared to ME that he was hurt against the first Hopkins bout, late in the rounds.

I disagree that Taylor has a better defense. Taylor can be hit. As far as athetisicm goes, that remains to be seen, but I cannot outright deny it.

Yes Taylor can be hit but compared to Pavlik's defense, who took a lot of hard shots against Miranda, I think Taylor clearly is better at avoiding hits. Has better movement and footwork from what I can tell.

I really hope he gets his ass kicked though, I cant stand Taylor for some reason.

I agree with you. But Pavlik has been down twice that I know of. Against McKart and that was a slip but ruled a Knockdown because of a punch to the shoulder. I seen the McKart fight on OLN(Versus) but I heard he got knocked down by Fulgencio Zuniga by a left hook. I heard that was also a flash knockdown. So he's never really been put down where he's hurt. I think Taylor's been hurt more in his fights.

Read that. He's been down but only flash knockdowns. Nothing I would call official. I don't know why on boxingscene's stats it says neither has been down

I didn't see the Zuniga fight but Showtime's commentators were saying he got put down by a left hook. I didn't see it so I don't know how hurt he was.

Well, it must have been waived off as a slip or something because the official record is that Pavlik has never been knocked down. I'm just going by the book. If you want to read more into it, that's your perogative. I don't care.

oh yeah , pavlik clearly got put down by a shot but he came back to win. every fighter goes down in their career. ive never seen taylor hurt, seen him tired a few times but never hurt. taylor is going to win this. just because pavlik beat a hard puncher in miranda beens he can beat the best middleweight in the world? some of you guys are kidding yourselves.
