Pavlik's fights show that Pavlik has KO power in both hands. Once he really hurts an opponent, he is exceedingly efficient in taking him out. Don't ask me what I have seen in Pavlik's past to think he is a power puncher. To dismiss that fact is just to ignore the man altogether. Pavlik has a 90% knockout percentage for heaven's sake. The question is: What have you seen in Pavlik that makes you believe he is overrated as a power puncher? Because that seems to be the point of your post.
With regard to Taylor, I don't think Taylor's chin has ever been tested like it will be in this fight. IMO. If Taylor has a granite chin, then his chances increase exponentially. But, from what I've seen of Taylor, I do not believe he has a granite chin. I could be wrong though, because like I said, his chin is relatively untested.
