He got right back up I think the definition of that particular knckdown is a "flash" one because he wasn't affected by it, he was just caught .

I deleted my post there because Boxing Scene's stats don't say that Hatton has never been knocked down. That's what it says about Pavlik.. A momentary brain fart on my part.

** He was never hurt by Zuniga. It was man vs a scrappy boy.

I figured that. If he could take Miranda's shot and not take a backward step he could walk threw Zuniga's shots. I've never seen Pavlik hurt. All his knockdowns were Flash knockdowns at best.

if it gets into a brawl then i agree pavlik will more than likely win.

i agree with that...pavlik hits harder and may have a stronger chin (havent seen taylors but cant imagine it being stronger than pavlik's).

if taylor does what i think he should do (stay on the outside...keep pavlik away...use the jab VERY often) he can win a 12 round decision...a slugging competition MORE than favors pavlik...i would honestly be surprised if they got into a slugging competition and pavlik got knocked out...i'd have a hard time seeing that happen...

but as i say...if taylor boxes he can do it...he's going to have to use great defense...many jabs...counterpunch like a mofo...and be wise and pick his punches...

              cheers

How can anybody honestly disagree with this? Those guys that are running around dissin Pavlik either haven't seen him fight, or are just uncontrollably biased for personal reasons of their own. Pavlik is one threatening SOB.

I believe that many fans base their present view of Kelly Pavlik on his performance agianst Edison Miranda and his impressive TKO in that fight... But prior to that win, he was in against soft opposition for the most part... There is a good chance that Pavlik may KO Taylor on September 29th, but it is equally logical to assume that Jermain will decision Kelly.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course.
