Eh..of course Taylor has the better resume right now; he's the ****ing WBC Champion and Pavlik will be in his first real title match. You can't look at things like that.
At any rate I'm still going with Pavlik by UD. I'm not convinced that Taylor will be knocked out but he could end up taking a beating and maybe even getting dropped. Pavlik has developed into a busy damaging puncher and I'm not sure Taylor will be able to avoid him or outslug him for 12 rounds. I think he is a very dangerous fight for Taylor, maybe his most dangerous fight yet.
Pavlik had a buzz going into the Miranda fight thanks to his knockouts on ESPN and his previous knock out win on HBO, naturally there is going to be even more attention after he scored a convincing knockout in the eliminator match against another hyped dangerous puncher in a exciting fight. Yeah, that's going to cause a few people to turn their heads and become fans if they weren't already. I see no problem with this logic. Are people not suppose to like him and give him a shot at winning the belt after a big televised win against a not great but reasonably tough opponent in the elimiantor match? Please. Taylor's recent string of poor performances including one on the very show of Pavlik's big win doesn't help matters.
