Theres this one fighter in japan i think his name is kid yamato or something he is bloody skilled in the ground work. Also regarding that video of the kickboxer vs boxing, have a look at andy souwer i think his name is all he does is boxer and maybe kicks once a fight and he ko's everybody in k1 max.
        You're thinking of Mike Zambidis.

        Souwer is a Dutch kickboxer.

And KID has a super mean right.

most mma fighters fight in a conventional muay thai stance not a typical boxing stance because they have to defend knees, kicks and take downs aswell and not to mention they use open finger gloves much smaller then standard boxers best believe if a fight was based soley on just punching there would be more performance in there stand up game oposed to boxers who just have to defend punches ,in mma its very tactical.a mma fighter might look like he cant take a punch but many boxers can not take a big punch from a 4oz glove yet alone a 4 oz glove while worrying about defending a kick or a knee or thai clinch or a take down or some kind of standing submission.

            *shrug*

So Sefo got caught. He should have been better with his defense.

Any what footage do you have of Hunt getting KO'd? It's bloody unlikely that he could. The dude brushed off one of CroCop's LHKs. How's a boxer going to KO him?

i said it from my first post respect both sports ,and i said it many times a mma fighter would have a hard time standing with a boxer for 12 rounds and a boxer would have a hard time in a mma match. but there are alot of mma fighters who are boxers aswell and they can apply those tactics in a ring , boxers are limited to 2 limbs.

the only guy i seen who has sweet stand up and can move so beauitfully and fluid is anderson silva that guy was like ali floating in the ring he can switch to boxing, then muay thai like that.

crocop is just deadly but he gets lazy and wants that 1 big kick from a counter.

you think im dumb or something?

i know mma and boxing dont talke to me like i dont know **** ok, im sick of you ignorant asses not grasping the point!

thats what makes Boxing as a sport more difficult then MMA lack of options...so yous low punching guys would get worked in boxing you get it?

but i seen some guys who cant box for **** succeed in mma by taking it to the groudn.

bj penn would get killed in a boxing match and never make it to the top 20 ever or to be a titlist...but in MMA at least he has a chance!

                      do you get the point?

being limited is harder, having more options gives you more ways to have a chance at victory.

                      wrestling harder then MMA
                      Boxing Harder then MMA
                      why? because they are limited.

if your not gifted with hand speed, timing, reflexes and foot work then say bye in boxing your going down.

if your not explosive, strong, or functional power you cant succeed in wrestling.
