Briggs: "I'm Going To Knock Ibragimov's Head Off"

Werewolf, if we did a linear thing the title could be traced to Briggs through Brwester. Here how it "could've" been. It all starts with Golota arguably getting ripped off against Byrd and Ruiz thus meaning he would've been the WBA/IBF champion going into his bout with Brewster. With Brewster then beating Golota (imoressively, no matter what people say about him being cold) that "would've" made Brewster the unified WBA/IBF/WBO heavyweight champ. Then Liakhovich would've become the linear champ with his victory over Brewster and Briggs with his voctory over Liakhovich. The turth is Wlad is the man in the division and hopefully some titlist steps up and fights the man so we have a damn linear champ again. The last time we saw a linear champ in action was in March of 03'. Thats sad when its been 4 years since the heavyweights had a true champ. Oh and werewolf, I do dabble a bit in boxing, primarily writing and advising.Comment

Very good, and yes indeed, Golota was ripped off vs Byrd and Ruiz and he fought those two fights strictly on the level and people tend to forget that - and consequently Brewster should have really been the champ when he beat Golota.
The turth is Wlad is the man in the division
It's obvious.

I want briggs to win but he has a work rate of a slug...I think if the fight goes past 6 rounds sultan will ko briggs...briggs in his last few fights has gotten extremely tired after the 3rd round...he should have lost the lakovich fight but lucked out with a punch...Comment

Ibragimov is mediocre at best.
Briggs is mediocre but he hits harder, and has the size advantage over Sultan.
I don't really care about this fight much at all, but for the time being I'm just pointing out that I think it's a huge mismatch where one guy who struggled with Ray "the Rain man" Austin coupled with being smaller and inexperienced is fighting someone who has been in the ring with the best of the best in the heavyweight division and has the size advantage.

i think its hilarious that ibragimov comes in fat as **** and lays an egg against austin and people assume he wont do it again? yeah right
whats even funnier is people heaping praise on him for beating an absolutely worthless lance whittaker who just stood back and let his own ass get kicked all night long....
werewolf... do you disupte that sultan was dropped by a half assed shot by ray austin?? i hope not cause it sure as hell happened and it cost him a WIN, thats what i like to call a FACT.
if you cant take a Ray Austin counter you sure as hell cant take a Shannon Briggs counter... i cant stand briggs, i agree he is the weakest champ, but ibragimov is not the man to beat him its a total physical mismatch and will be over inside of 3 rounds with sultan getting knocked out, a distinction that even timur has yet to garner.
all in all im just glad briggs is the underdog, cause i like to make moneyComment

i find it hilarious how people criticise ibragmimov for being dropped by austin when briggs has been stopped by darrel wilson and dropped decisions against worthless fighters such as sedreck fields and jameel mcline. Briggs got lucky against lyackovich and is now possibly one of the most over-rated fighters in the heavyweight division.Comment

I hope Briggs knocks his head off in the first round instead of standing around looking tired for twelve rounds first.Comment
