JD - I need to see that fight again because I forgot the details. Did Sultan just start fighting cautiously after the knockdowns or was he exhausted. I seem to recall feeling it was the former, but maybe it was a combination. He sure looked sensational at the beginning though.

He may have become more cautious, but I remember he just seemed to tire, and he admitted afterwards he was not in his best shape. He was robbed by the judges though, he should have been awarded a win.

sultan fought cautiosly from the start, i had 500 bucks on him to KO austin and he never took the fight to austin for 10 seconds straight the whole night... the best comparison i could make is that he fought very similar (demeanor not style) to the way lyakovich looked against briggs..

also, sultans knockdown of austin was more of a lucky punch than anything, he winged a wild overhand right and austin just kinda stepped into it and got put on his ass... but he wasnt hurt and sultan made no real effort to follow it up.

Austin was really flattened though...it was quite an entertaining knockdown. I just hope he does the same to Briggs, since he's been bragging about "sending the Russian into orbit" and knocking Sultan's head off.

I think this Russian link may work. The Valuev vs. Chagaev fight was here, but not the Abraham fight (I found a link to a German TV station for that one). But I've heard Briggs vs. Ibragimov will be nationally televised in Russia, so try this:

about 18 squares each one a representing a Russian TV station will come up,

              click on "DTV"

Heavyweight title fights involving a Russian are very popular in Russia, so it should be there.

austin was wobbled badly in the first round before any knockdown. sultan was too heavy for that fight at 231 lbs. watch him in his fights before and after when hes 220 and he's a much more effective fighter. I doubt very much that he;ll come in too heavy for briggs

                    Briggs- Heavy hands
                    Sultan - weak chin
but i think Sultan will steal some rounds here and there and it will be a very close fight
