WBO heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs (48-4-1, 42 KOs) is not a happy camper. He tells the New Jersey Star-Ledger that he's upset over comments made by Sultan Inbragimov's promoter, Leon Margules of Warriors Boxing, and promises to knock Ibragimov's (20-0-1, 17 KOs) head off his shoulders when they collide on June 2 in Atlantic City. I'm predicting that this will be one of the good hw fights in 2007 that no one sees because its ppv. What a shame...

...Yeah, **** this one being a PPV. I do think Briggs will spank him and I sense that he is genuinely mad about the whole situation. I still can't believe that Sultan fought the way he did against Austin. He was such an aggressive and come forward guy and then he got so cautious in that fight. Even though he handled Whitaker, I believe he was hurt in that fight and it made him more reluctant against Austin when he felt some power. Unless Sultan really impresses in this one I think he was way overhyped. I believe he's very very chiny.Comment

I'm picking Briggs because I really don't know what to make of Sultan. In his last fight he looked really sharp and determined albeit against a hand picked tomato can. Against Austin, he didn't fight like he wanted to win, and seemed very cautious and unsure of himself. In any event, I think that both fighters are very motivated and have been training extremely hard for this fight and wouldn't be surprised if it went either way....Yeah, **** this one being a PPV. Actually, I think I'm starting to talk myself into buying this ppv...How much is it anyway?Comment
