I believe Wlad will prevail, but remember Brewster also has a good chin. A fighter like Brewster, who has a high KO percentage and who's never been stopped, is dangerous. I don't think it's wise to underestimate him, but I'm sure Wlad will be at his best. Without Don King involved, there's not much of a chance of his being drugged this time lol.

Las Vegas odds say Ibragamov -200, Briggs +160 or +170.

Ibragimov is way too small to hurt Briggs.

And I don't think this fight lasts more than 2 rounds, Briggs KO.

No he shouldn't. He fights at 220-230! What we do need, however, is a couple more heavyweight divisions!

Sultan won his Silver Medal at age 25 in the 2000 Summer Olympics in the under 200 lb category. He has been fighting at about 215 to 220 (except for the Austin fight when he was overweight) but I think he would be more effective at 200.

I can understand the hate fror Briggs and people thinking he's not that great etc, but you'd think he was just a guy who came in off the street and hit a home run by the way some people talk. The fact is he's a big dangerous guy with power and fast hands, as well as having experience at the highest level. Ibragimov didn't even get past Ray Austin. World titles can't be bought down your local shop. Even Valuev showed he had at least a little bit of ability.

You can see Sultan's fighting weights on Boxrec. My pet peeve is that while the lighter weights are seperated by 2 or 3 pounds there are not enough heavyweight classes and there is really no place in boxing now for a man who weighs say 201, unless he cares to suffer a tremendous weight penalty and step into the ring with a much bigger man, like Klitschko or Valuev, for instance. Sultan, tho, is a legit heavy, and he soundly trounced Whittaker who is much bigger than Briggs.

Yes, Sultan looked very good in that fight against big Lance Whitaker, knocking him down three time.

way too many are overrating size here. 215 lb light hitting darrol wilson put briggs to sleep. sultan hits plenty hard enough to stop briggs. briggs chin is average at best. both guys have enough power to hurt the other badly

briggs would have also struggled with austin. come on,,,most of the negative comments toward briggs are for good reason. his power and ability is hugely overrated. the only top 20 guy hes ever been able to stop is serge and that appeared to have as much to do with serge choking and tiring than anything briggs did,,, not to mention sege was stopped also by none other than mighty mo harris. briggs has good power and descent hand speed but its not nearly on the level many on here think it is or he'd have iced more higher caliber opponents
