I think this Russian link may work. The Valuev vs. Chagaev fight was here, but not the Abraham fight (I found a link to a German TV station for that one). But I've heard Briggs vs. Ibragimov will be nationally televised in Russia, so try this:
about 18 squares each one a representing a Russian TV station will come up,
click on "DTV"
Heavyweight title fights involving a Russian are very popular in Russia, so it should be there.
Thanks for that link! Most of the stations work well now, but they'll probably overload and freeze up for a big fight. What was the German station? And how did you search these stations out - "Russian tv +Ibragamov" or something?

In Las Vegas they're favoring Ibragimov by about 2 to 1. It has something to do with Sultan being backed by a Russian billionaire.
But as far as the actual chances of willing the fight are concerned, I read sportswriters are close to 50/50 on the outcome of this one.Comment

Briggs was forced to take a two week hiatus from training for another bout of Pneumonia. When the WBO was approached about postponing the fight again, Briggs' people were informed that he would be stripped if he couldn't make the fight. So Briggs will be heavy again and will be looking to take Sultan out early, which is what everyone expects anyways. And if no asthma attack happens again (I think it was a panic attack) then Briggs will barely make it past the 4th. So basically Briggs will give us a great three rounds. I still have Briggs by early KO, but this is for you betters out there that wouldn't mind a little inside info.Comment

I've just sent you a private message with the German TV link for future use, but because this fight involves a Russian, it's more likely to be on the corbina DTV station. It gave a clear, sharp picture for the Valuev vs Chagaev fight.
If the link enables you to watch the fight, instead of rewarding me with karma, I'd prefer some help with my rating. I'm always getting lots of good karma, but when I debated with the Hatton haters they gave me some one star ratings that brought me down to a three star rating.Last edited by Steelhammer86; 05-29-2007, 11:44 PM.Comment

It didn't freeze up? I forgot what fight I was trying to watch on internet recently, but it was hopeless - the picture was frozen up more than it moved. (I often get amnesia when it comes to boxing matches - I forget 'em!)
Thanks!
