I take risks when I box. I don't see the point of always playing it safe. If you don't want to take risks and if you don't want to get hit... This isn't the sport for you.
dude he won 9-3 that pretty dominating. And you should be mad Oscar for not being able to make him fight harder. Your way of thinking is what got Carmelo Anthony suspended for so many games. You way of thinking is why a lot great players get injured in pre season. Now if the Pistons kept all their starters out on the floor while they were balsting the Bulls and Chauncey got hurt, everyone on sportscenter and Barkley and Jet will be saying how ****** was that. If Floyd took some risk after he was clearly winning and got Ko, now how ****** would that had been. Point is if you want Floyd to fight harder, then tell his opponents to make him fight hard.
C'mon let not compare apples to oranges. The NBA has a 60+ game season where championship boxing is a 1-2 fight per year situation.
by the same token his core fan base rarely ever acknowledge criticisms against floyd that might have some merit.No if you criticize floyd "youre not a true boxing fan" It gets annoying. For me personally Its hard to truly enjoy floyds fights, hes awesome when he shines like he did against Judah and like he did against DLH in spots...its just not that often I can really root for floyd.
