You will get hit but why get hit more than you have to, to win a fight you can win otherwise... Called a game plan and taking advantage of your advantages...

Hell the fact that he landed more power punches than Oscar's total punches landed isn't good enough. The ring size, the gloves, the weight, the venue, none of that is good enough. Matter of fact another question, who has ever dominated Oscar De la Hoya?
No one has ever dominated De La Hoya really.. Even in the Hopkins fight he was even in the score cards before the body shot. That is why I'm giving floyd some props.. BUT I felt he could have did more and was very dissapointed in the fight, being that this is the biggest fight we have had in ages. I understand hitting and not getting hit but its one thing to do that and its another just to close up and pop shot here and there.. But oh well.. whats done is done and if these two go @ it again I will not be dumb and pay to see it again!

Why didn't he care about being crowd pleasing in his fights with Baldomir and Oscar?

Lmao, im sorry, thats just crap talk of the highest order.

Boxing = Hit and Not be hit.

If you like getting hit, MMA is the sport for you.

MMA= Hit, Be hit, Hit some more, Roll around on the floor, hit.

Amateur and professional are two very different games. Professional boxing is, to quote Manny Stewart, part "threatre" meaning you can win a boxing match on the cards but can you look good doing so(not boring) and win over the hearts of the crowd. It was a pro-DLH crowd but if Floyd had put in the dominating and masterful performance he was very capable of doing, then he would've won over the crowd and make alot of new fans as well as furthering his argument of being the 'greatest.'

Possible because he felt taking some of Corley's power was worth the risk to please the fans... That's not a smart fight to me personally... If you can stand on the outside and out point your opponent easily, why take the risk of getting caught with something that has no business hitting you...

You people ask and expect way too much from Mr. Mayweather. Never in my life have I seen so many people criticize someone for winning so much. I think some of yall are Floyd fans on the low. the guy slipped and blocked 465 of the bigger and stronger man's punches and managed to land 207 punches of his own which included 138 powershots. If only head got the Ko huh

I think everyone was but they felt he could still pull it out.. For only fighting once a year and for how old he is in ring years he didn't look too bad in there though. You can defenitely tell hes getting older but he still has some gas in the tank.
