You also said Oscar would KO Floyd, so I don't think saying they would "beat the crap out of Mayweather" is fair.

Pretty Boy does what it takes to win fights..It would have been ****** for him to stand toe to toe with the bigger and stronger DLH..He was in at time and then moved out..I'm very satisfied with what he has done to win big fights..

If you are happy and 100% satisfied with the way Floyd fought Saturday night, then you are either very easily satisfied, or you are sycophantic. In other words, you do not question anything Floyd does, and your view of reality is askew.

Floyd did not give his best; did not show the fans what we wanted.

He will be remembered as a great fighter who did not quite satisfy, if he stays retired.

Floyd is a great fighter and I respect him for his work ethic and skills but on Saturday night he was not overly impressive. It was a dull performance for a guy who predicted in his words "a ****ing massacre". But he won so I give him credit and I believe that he is best in the sport based on talent.

And yes, I make it plain as day that I was not fully satisfied with his effort. No need for you to beat a dead horse.

I don't need to hear what kind of fighter Floyd is. I know what kind of a fighter he is.

The questions remains...who was 100% satisfied with the way Floyd won this single fight? I don't want to hear ramblings about his career or how he fought other guys or what his style is generally.

Yes or no. Only one person really answered.

Fact of the matter is, your looking to people to agree with your opinion and your going to strawman your way through this thread until you get your way, and your content with that. People are saying they are satisfied through other means and other ways as opposed to giving you the direct answer your looking for. The question your asking isnt clear cut at all, there are so many variables to what your asking, sure your saying "good answer" to those who answered it the way YOU wanted them too, but man, i swear you just repeat the same rhetoric, just admit you cant stand floyd and his style and move on.

Floyd isnt a fighter. He clinical point scorer, who is brilliant in hitting and not being hit. He will only become aggresive when he knows his opponent is no longer dangerous.

Great technician, but not a fighter. He doesnt inspire me at all. He is a little too 'saftey first' for my liking.

To get back to the original question as to whether or not I was satisfied with the fight - absolutely not - for all the hype, all the talk in the media, all the build up of a fight of an "all time" magnitude, this was a lackluster effort from both fighters.

Not even in the same breath of a Leonard vs Hearns, or Duran vs Leonard, Leonard vs Hagler, the effort put forth by DeLaHoya vs Mayweather was certainly not worthy of an "all time great fight" tag.

Where was the DeLaHoya "grit" and determination - the warrior is gone, did it leave before the Hopkins fight? Where was the "bust his ass" that Floyd promised? Mayweather didn't go in there and "take" the title belt from Oscar, nor did Oscar go in there and put up a "you aren't getting my belt" type of title defense. I - for one, was very disappointed in the effort of both fighters, and would not pay for a rematch.

In my opinion, "the world still awaits" a truly toe to toe, no guts no glory kind of champion....

Does anyone actaully take what fighters say before fights seriously? I disregard all of that and usually it turns out just like I expect it to. I'm often not disappointed because of that.
