And what i am saying is that Hatton would struggle now to win a lightweight title but in Hattons earlier day it would be feasible for him to do it and be a 3 weigh champ now.
Hatton would have gotten destroyed at 135 by Jose Luis Castillo or Diego Corrales...

I'm sure there are handfulls of people with 37-0 or better. Same thing with DLH. But, DLH fought Mosley in his prime, twice, fought B-Hop, Tito in his prime, Vargas when people said he was ducking him, Gatti when people said he couldn't win against a brawler, Mayorga when people said he was finished, Ike Quartey, and more. Oscar fights in his fights. He doesn't run and jab three times to win a fight. DLH respected all his opponents, win or lose, and damn well knew he was fighting some very skilled people. On the other hand, Mayweather fought nobody til Chico, who probably didn't train hard for this fight given his personal life, he fought Gatti who Mayweather called a B fighter and people already knew Gatti was near the end of his rope, had trouble with Judah, though he still beat him so credit for that, he fought Baldomir who was slower than a snail and got credit for beating a finished Gatti and a horrible Judah,
and fought Castillo in which his first fight wasn't convincing enough to persuade even his own fans that he won, and ran like a ***** in his second fight.

DLH fights everyone in their primes (including Mayweather), and gives a good fight and gives 200% of himself. Mayweather wins by fighting fighters who are done, and has only really beat like two marquee fighters, and runs like a ***** in every fight knowing he can't hang but to hit really fast and then run. Watch many clips of Mayweather on tv and you'll see him knocking guys out, but half the time the guy is someone you've never seen. Gatti, done, Chico, okay one time, Judah, hit and ran, Baldomir, hit and ran. Yeah, real impressive.

HELL NO NOT LEGENDARY!!! DLH IS A LEGEND!!!
he summed it up for me

I couldnt have said it better myself as well. If he could manage to even beat a over the hill DLH that would be something because DLH is a six weight champ and has fought better people than PBF ever has.

Sure, sure if that is what u want 2 believe. Kostya was supposed to beat Hatton as well but didnt. Castillo record shows he gets beaten and often. Hattons record suggests he dont get beat easily. So saying things like Hatton would get destroyed is wishful thinking.

In July Hatton > Castillo, i dont know why lol, i just think its more clever matchmaking from team Hatton.

Hugh, i know you like Hatton, but lets be real, he's had one proper win, a bloody good one, but he has shown nothing to ever suggest he could be the man at another weight.

The ONLY reason he is the man at 140 is cos he dodged PBF. He's virtually admitted this himself.

Yeah i think Hatton is alright. Hatton has shown me when he isnt supposed to win he can win. You say it was only 1 fight against Kostya i guess. Hatton wasnt supposed to win, but he won. Against PBF Hatton wont be supposed to win by the experts. Hatton has shown he can win when he isnt supposed to. Understand.

Well no i dont understand cos there is little logic to that, just cos 'Hatton won one fight when he wasn't supposed to' doesnt mean he can beat Floyd Mayweather, it means he just won 'a fight he wasnt supposed to'.

When the attributes of the 2 fighters are broken down, the winner becomes pretty obvious IMO, but stranger things have happened in Boxing.

PBF is no legend. Ali is a legend, Duran and Leonard are legends...

All PBF has in his favor is an unbeaten record.

When you factor in the amount of belts today, the politics of boxing which allows fighters of the same weight to avoid eachother and the fact that PBF
hasn`t had any memorable fights and in many peoples opinon lost vs Castillo...the idea that he is legendary is laughable.

They are both boxers who know how to win at the end of the day. And Hatton has beaten a bigger name is what i understand. If Hatton does a job on Castillo at 140 which u didnt think he could do at 135 the logic that PBF is a legend needs questioning. Then again it might not need questioning that PBF is a legend. Just that Hatton should join him in the legend department. PBF should fight Hatton to see if he is more of a legend than Hatton. That is what we all want to see.
