Well no i dont understand cos there is little logic to that, just cos 'Hatton won one fight when he wasn't supposed to' doesnt mean he can beat Floyd Mayweather, it means he just won 'a fight he wasnt supposed to'.

When the attributes of the 2 fighters are broken down, the winner becomes pretty obvious IMO, but stranger things have happened in Boxing.

And he wasnt supposed to win against not any fighter. It was the legend Kostya and top rated p4p in the world. So not supposed to beat the best top p4p in the world before Hatton has heard it all before. He'll hear it against PBF as well and do what he isnt supposed to be able to do.

When PBF does something exceptional there is noway people wont know about it. People wont need PBFs fans trying to shout out his achievements. They will speak for itself. Beating even an over the hill DLH would be a good start.

Floyd Moved up to 135 ( a whole division) to fight the champ in Castillo, In his first fight.

At 147 he beats the last 2 Linear Champs

At 130 and 135 he cleaned up and beat everyone of note

At 140, Hatton didnt wanna fight, nothing he could do about that.

Certain people are obviously allowing their judgement to be clouded due to the fact we are talking about mayweather.

Ask yourself, how much Better is hopkins' resume than Floyd's, if is at all? how many people Hoplkins fight that were his own weight etc?, yet people are quick to talk about hopkins as an all time great lol.

I didnt know being a 4 weight world champ and undeafeated in 37 didnt make you a legend.

He was linear champ in 3 out of those 4 weights, the only reason it wasnt in all four was because u know who refused to fight him, asking for 13 million to do so and pricing himself out.

People are quick to point who he hasn't fought, ever thought thats because certain top fighters might not wanna fight him? When he has called out people in the past we have heard things like toothache and tune-ups being used as excuses and no one bats an eyelid.

He won his First title at 21 at 130 against the champ, Hernandez who made plenty of defences.
His 1st fight at 135 was Castillo, the champ.
His 1st fight is 154 is De La Hoya

on paper he looks like the best in the world, but when you have fans booing around the middle of the fight, fans leaving because it's boring c'mon that's a champion ? when you got commentators talking on a totally different subject while floyd is fighting for like half of the fight, same old story a real boring fight If you ask me, im not questioning his skills he has great skills,

Do you guys think that Mayweather is already a legend? What about if he beats Oscar? I think Mayweather is going to be a name people think about when they talk about this era of boxers but I think Mayweather has to fight Mosley to be a true legend in the eyes of true boxing fans. I think he will beat Oscar, but I think he has to beat the man that beat Oscar. I mean Mayweather is a great fighter but he hasn’t fought the type of fighters Oscar or Mosley have. Mayweather is good. A legend? Probably not really. Even if he beats DLH...DLH is a bit on the downside. He avoided Margarito, Cotto, Hatton etc. He fought BS oppostion thus far. Zab if he had the right mindset...would beat his ass. More power, more speed...maybe less chin, but he could do it. "Cotto too green." "who is margarito?!?" one other thing you would call a boxer a legend without having to argue or point-out advantages or dis-advantages over opponents....a legend is one that will be remembered not because of his paper record or trash talk,
when you say Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Haggler, Thomas "the hitman" Hearns, Roberto "mano de piedra" Duran, Sugar Ray Robinson there is no arguement what so ever wins or loses they were great in all aspect.....
floyd is not even close in my eyes, when i hear floyd all that comes to my mind is another boring fight....same **** all over again hand-picking opponents......those great fighters cleared the division and fought the best, floyd is now beginning to fight....he needs at least 5 more fights with solid opponents (not including tune-up fights)

Hatton admitted not wanting to fight Floyd, do a search on google for the links, it's been done to death.

Cotto was at the Gatti fight, didnt want anything to do with PBF, Floyd even beat up his sparring partner and mate Brussles to get Cotto to fight, it didn't happen.
