Why do people think shavers hit so much harder than tyson?.

I don't buy that. Lots of guys have fast hands with no power and lots of guys have slow hands with oodles of power. The "scientific" formula about mass doesn't apply to punches, unless you're trying to justify your tae-bo kicks.

speed does equal power. thats no myth.

Speed can't hurt if you already have power but speed certainly doesn't equate to power. If it did the guys with the most knockouts would be the fastest guys. That's not the case.

absolutely,,,,tyson was a better all around fighter than many of them but they all hit harder in my opinion and I doubt Im the only one who agrees with this. tyson had great speed and good power but there were many heavyweights that were more powerful. were talking pure punching power here,,,nothing else

one thing tyson did have above most other power punchers was amazing accuracy,,,timing and sharpness to his punches. I think thats were people get mixed up mistaking it for pure power. a lot of the other guys that hit harder in my opinion didnt have the same speed,,timing and accuracy
