    He threw body-type punches, mostly, and circled around. He ripped that **** up though. I watched alot of clips, and he makes the heavier of the heavy bags sway around.

        Faster, but he loaded up his punches. Foreman (never seen Liston) hit the bag full force, but didn't focus on speed or anything.

          you mean tyson hit the bag with combinations and never loaded up with one shot like foreman. did foreman hit the bag harder?.

            Yup. He threw combo's that were hard-hitting (from the looks and sound of them) but he never threw a single punch and then backed off. Foreman did that. He threw some wide-ass, clubby hooks that looked much harder than Tyson's shots. But IMO, Tyson was more effective with his power because it was harder to neutralize in the ring. Those flurries still ****ed you up, big time.

              do you think if tyson loaded with one shot on the heavy bag he would hit it as hard as foreman?.

                speed= power
                I don't buy that. Lots of guys have fast hands with no power and lots of guys have slow hands with oodles of power. The "scientific" formula about mass doesn't apply to punches, unless you're trying to justify your tae-bo kicks.

                  Nope. But his mix of speed and power was more lethal than George's pure strength. Guys could get by George longer than they could Tyson (in their prime's).

                      foreman's heavy hands were amazing on the heavy bag. he'd put a dent in it the size of a watermelon. were talking a 150 lb heavy bag. of course tyson was a much sharper snappier puncher,,,but wasnt nearly as powerful a puncher as foreman
