Why do peple think this?. Shavers never knocked out anyone with a decent chin where as tyson knocked out guys with stellar chins like thomas, tubbs, botha, spinks, berbick and holmes.

I've seen quite a few video's of Shavers, and if you ask me his power's pretty overrated, the guy hit hard.. but his shots weren't THAT special.

        LMAO.

Video's? What does that even mean? Can you clarify?

You know, VIDEO. Before DVD existed, there were video's, you're not familiar?

So what made you think that Shaver's was overrated? Which fights did his power not hold up so well?

Don't get me wrong, he hit hard, but I didn't see anything that seperated his power from the likes of Tyson, Foreman, Morrison etc.

All power no speed, and speed helps generate power, so IMO.. Tyson's power > Shavers'.

holmes also said that butterbean and norton hit harder than tyson . how can anyone take that guy seriously . Holmes is well aware of tysons power . he unintentionally admitted it when he said

"being hit by tyson is like being hit by a corvette going 140 mph . being hit by shavers is like being hit by a truck going 55 mph"

this quote tells me that shavers had more much mass behind his punches but tyson had more much more velocity behind his punches . speed= power . i would say that tyson and shavers both had roughly the same power in their punches . the difference in power would be negligble.

All power no speed. Hmm. I guess that Foreman was a speedy puncher as well, since you had him up there? Ooook....
