I thought Oscar pulled out the Whitaker and Quartey fights with his aggressiveness. Considering how dominant Trinidad was considered at the time they fought ,knocking out everyone left and right,i thought Oscar dominated tito with ease until he ran out of gas the last 4 rounds. I still thought he won the fight. The fights with Shane Mosley could have gone either way. Those were close fights. Hopkins was simply much bigger and stronger then Oscar. Natural 160 pounder

Had he been given the decision over Tito i would say that's a very impressive resume. Beating Quartey and Tito when both were in there primes and undefeated ,beating Whitaker who was still a top 5 pound for pound fighter.

Great job promoting him!! thats no doubt. Question: if DLH was so much of a draw, do u think he would had so many mega fights? being that he lost so many of them?

DLH came along when boxing needed him. Why is DLH liked so much, maybe because most high profile boxers are always in trouble withe the LAW and he's a perfect role model for young people. His fans like him, not always for his boxing ability just for who he is.

In the boxing world he is seen for what he is a good fighter who has never been dominated by anyone. Sure he lost a few close fights but he's never been destroyed.

I'm not overrating anyone, you asked whom he beat and I told you.

That Trinidad fought some of his competition first has no bearing on anything. Trinidad is older and naturally heavier and of course got to much of the compeition first. De La Hoya was just as impressive against all of them,. and head to head he proved better than Tinidad. No offense to Trinidad, an all time great fighter, he's just second to DLH for his era.

Ive never seen the "destroyd" column. i have only seen wins, losses, draws, and No Contests. it dont matter how bad you lose, if you lost u just lost. and im mainly talking about his big fights. DLH is a good fighter and im not denying that. but not a great in my opinion.

DLH proved that he was better than Tito. It doesnt matter what the final decision was.

What I don't like about him is that he always makes the fights on his terms, he made Tito go back down to 147 when he already had fought at 154, it was know by then that Tito had problems making 147. When he fought Hopkins for the "Middleweight" title, for Hopkins to get the fight he had to weight under 156(?) on the day of the official weigh-in for their fight, and I'm sure he will make Floyd use the smallest gloves possible and a very short ring to be able to catch him...

**** Trinidad is overrated too! He beat the same people DLH beat and "won" against DLH. so why would he be 2nd to DLH. B/C he isnt as big of a draw?

How did he proved that? Running away from Tito?

Hell no, Trinidad actually dominated a weight class, something Oscar never did, he has the win over Oscar like it or not and a better record.

Trinidad only lost to Hopkins and Wright a MIDDLEWEIGHT.
