If theres one thing that making me hestitant to get on board the Froch appreciation club, its obsessives like you who are constantly and ignorantly pushing Froch higher than he is currently worth while dogging on Calzaghe at the same time. You dont need to do that to make it known how much potential Froch has you know?

Yes but its people like me that should be a Calzaghe fan. He is a skillfull fighter. But untill he fights some Credible SMWs most british will not respect his record which has a pretty shamefull list of opponents, and IMO was very lucky to get the split with Robin Reid.
I want to see big fights in britain.

WHAT?! Froch has a better Amatuer record than Calzaghe? Calzaghe who was pretty much unbeaten as an amatuer, who won an unprecedented 3 back to back ABA titles?
Seriously, your comments are crazy and it makes it very difficult to take you and as a reflection Froch seriously.
When Watson and Eubank and Benn were fighting each other, the domestic scene was stronger. As a result of them fighting each other, none of them ever made it all that big on an international scene, very few people now rate them as highly as they perhaps deserve, in fact most casual boxing fans dont even know who they are. So I cant really complain about Calzaghe wanting to take on the big American fighters.
How can you possibly complain about Calzaghe not fighting credible fighters when Froch has been fighting on (at best) a Commonwealth level. This is up to the age of 29 for ****s sake. At 29 Calzaghe had been a WORLD champion for half a decade.
Calzaghe doesnt have a hard punch? In 21 contests, Froch has failed to knock out 4 opponents. In double the amount of fights, Calzaghe has only failed to knock out 10 opponents.

So reports are Calzaghe wants a fight with Hopkins, Wright, Taylor. Although these guys are very good, they are in FACT middleweights. How can fighting these guys give him any credibility as a big SMW. why doesnt he go after guys his own size? For gods sake how can you defend the Manfredo fight when the guy has lost to a light welterweight. There are too many good SMWs Calzaghe has managed to avoid over the years.
He doesnt have the power to beat Froch, he hit Lacy 1200 times and didnt knock him out.
Plus hes never been in with anyone with nearly as much power as Froch.

Come on. Hopkins has been talking about moving up to HEAVYWEIGHT and everyone said that they fancied his chance of winning a title there.

You dont know that Calzaghe hasnt been in with people with as much power as Froch. Lacy supposed to be the pound4pound heaviest hitter in boxing at that time. Froch can hit as hard as he wants, but if he cannot hit Calzaghe cos he's too busy eating fists, what good is that?Comment
