He's got superb speed, power and a great ability to pick his shots. With the state the heavyweight division is in at the moment...I dont see why not.

He has a kind of frame that looks like he'll be able to pile pounds on quite easily without it effecting his conditioning. I assume that he's got his stamina issues resolved, which leaves his chin as the only real possible worry-spots.

his stamina is much better now, against the cat he was completly done after 2 rounds, but his last fight he still had plenty left in him to get a 8 round ko. i think he is about 220lb at the moment and he looks better at that than he does at 200lb, the only concern i got is him being weight drained for the mormeck fight, and the concern at heavy is if his chin can take a punch. but if he has a good enough chin i think he will be one of the top heavys.

why Haye's camp let him fight Thompson with conditioning issues is beyond me
There is nothing wrong with Frochs conditioning, he trains with the army and doesnt have to boil down ot make the weight. Haye has to come down 2 stone to make cruiser. I think this is Hayes stamina problem.
Brian Magee is a good fighter as is Mat Barney. I think Poras was top 10 when he fought Froch. This Russian has wins over current European Champ.
He also spas Howard Eastman who is top draw. Yes i know hes a middle but hes a good fighter and form what i hear he never troubles the cobra.

I like Haye. But you call him the real deal yet say froch is unproven and has fought no one any good. Who has Haye fought that is good?????????? i cant think of any.

I THINK that Froch is the real deal too. I'm just waiting for them both to prove it to me.

Fair comment. What do you think of Witter? Do you think he would trouble Hatton? I think he could give Hatton a nightmare, he centainly wouldnt stand and trade. I think Hatton would have trouble hitting Witter cleanly, would be an very interesting fight, Witter is not that popular because of his style but hes got some seriously good boxing skills.

I cannot stand Witter. I think that Hatton would chase him down and knock him out.

I hope we get chance to find out. I like both fighters and am split on this one. I just think Junior would present something different for Hatton.
Hatton cuts easy and Witter just doesnt get hit.

Witter could really hurt Hatton, if he catches him cleanly with a big shot.
But he doesnt throw too many combinations and needs his space and time.

Could go either way, but Hatton would suffocate him to death.

See Froch is nice and can be a great oneday but at this stage his resume alone speaks for itself, his got power, and can finish fights at any stage but who has he really fought and as simple sounding as that maybe that plays into every fighters development and legacy the guys only 29 so he has about5-6-7-8 years left in him and if he wants to be as good as some of you think he already is he needs to step his game up and start callin out big names and doing the things that attract big name fighter to fight him, id hate to see him end-up another Joe calzaghe a guy who is big in his respective country has all the skills in the world but fights limited opposition with the occasinaly big name opponent!
