Dont make moronic statements then. What other than Lacy's loss to Calzaghe and an unconvincing serious injury plagued return bout has made him look 'not very good' exactly? The entire boxing world, critics, analysts, fans all thought that Lacy was the new biggest things, are they wrong and your analysis that he's 'not very good' correct?

I respect your views about Froch being a good fighter...because he is. However, he is also still unproven, has not fought for any kind of credible title and has not fought another legitimately credible opponent. Can you deny this at all?

He may, he may not. Everyone was rabbiting on about his incredible power (mini-Tyson) and how he was too strong and too fast for Calzaghe. It didnt happen. There is no guarantee that Froch would be any more successful in landing on Calzaghe. If he could land against another top guy in the division, that'd be some evidence...but he hasnt fought any other top guy in the division yet.

Lacy was hyped by HBO, simple. Americans always think they are the dogs bollocks anyway and have little respect for British fighters. They think Hatton is rubbish for a start.

Just a quick point, i was in the pub last night and i over heard a conversation by a bunch of lads who obviously dont follow boxing but had caught the Froch fight, they were very impressed and said they were gonna look out for him again.
A few of my mates who are Very fringe fans said the same.
He may be starting to get a following in brittain?

I have only seen a 4 froch fight but from what i have seen he does look good but has never been in with a top 10 guy so i cant fully judge him, but he keeps his left hand far to low.

I`m taking Froch with a pinch of salt until he fights a really good solid professional.

I remember thinking David Haye was a potential undef undis champion....then Carl Thompson came along....

why Haye's camp let him fight Thompson with conditioning issues is beyond me

I'm with you on that one. Haye is the real deal. His career scare came early, when he wasnt in the spotlight and he was exposed. He'll put it right and will have an impressive career.
