How do you regard Carl Froch?

Kids got skills and power, but idiots who claim he is the number one supermiddle right now are only hurting his cause.
I expect him to hold a world title at one point in time.

I believe he could take Calzaghe.. I think Calzaghe would beat the crap out of him for few rounds.. but each time Froch landed.. adn he would land.. Calzaghe would back off a little more..And I suspect by the end of the fight Cal would be running..
I dont know enough About Kessler having only ever seen the Beyer fight.and to me Beyer has long been overated and protected..

Froch can and most likely will be the new Dominant SMW

Good chin and great power beat a weak defence and questionable stamina. A pressure fighter like Joe who goes full out for 36 minutes would have a field day with him.

He's the best super-middleweight in the world right now, and there's so much he hasn't needed to show yet.

The fact that he hasnt shown it yet (against proven quality opposition) is exactly why he is not the best super-middleweight in the world.

For me personally, I can't deny the guy appears to be VERY talented... at least at a level. At this stage in his career he's only fought, at best, fringe European class. Despite that, I'd stake a claim on him being genuine European class when he gets the chance.

But is he world class? I don't know. I suspect he could be... but I really don't know. It'd be nice to see him step in with someone like Robin Reid, Lacy or Kessler just for more of an indication of his standing. The guy certainly knows how to box, but how much that can extend at this stage, I think we simply don't know.


He is top of my P4P list though... P4P (unintentionally) funniest boxers.

the same mix as kessler and lacy is an insult to those 2 fighters.

reid is done. froch would murder him all night long even if reid tried to get stuck in
i wouldnt even be surprised if froch stopped him more impressively than lacy.

as for him fighting lacy, he aint ready...hes had plenty of time but hasnt stepped
up yet so i think that taking on lacy is asking too much.

he is good, he is fast, but hes untested in a real in ur face contest.

im not really up on the middleweight scene, who are the right fights for him guys ?

I would like to see him Against Vitali Tsypko, Jeff Lacy or Lucien Bute.. Fighting one or more of these guys would be a pretty good indicator of where
he would stand..

I picked calazghe and even made alot of money.. I was never fooled by Jeff lacy.. but he is still world class or fringe world class.. and he is a former champ.. A good test for Froch all and all

a great test and im not sure hed come through it but id love to see it no doubt.

in lacys last fight against tsykpo alot of people got on his back but personally
i think it was a solid performance against a tricky fighter and if i was a fighter
id take him very very seriously. if froch could beat him id definately give him
a chance of beating mikel kessler which could lead to the real champ, JC
