I can see Cotto "passing through the eye of the needle" against Mosley and Margarito buddy, it's gonna be a very hard fight for him. But I'm not counting Cotto out, INFACT he wants the Margarito fight rightnow, it's just that there are promotional problems involved that's why it's not happening.

Way to go, he's been accused of being protected so he now wants to prove himself.

I don't have problem with Cotto/Hatton fight happening buddy, I know this is another one for the books. What bothers me is Cotto going back down to 140
We all know that Cotto is all drained up and looks like a zombie at that weight, so Hatton beating him at 140 won't really prove anything all.

Hatton wants big fights? Then he should go up to 147 where the big names are rightnow. If HE does that, even a Mosley fight is not impossible. Otherwise if Hatton can't, he can stop dreaming of the big names.

I'm hoping we'll hear something after the Castillo fight for the end of the year. Although it is possible there's going to be a big unification bout against Junior Witter in the UK before any talk of moving up. It wouldn't be too bad to have a fight with Witter then in 2008 to have a catch-weight non-title fight with Cotto before moving up to 147 to take on Mayweather. Failing that he could take a warm up fight at the new weight against someone like Sharmba Mitchell (more to get used to the weight than to secure a legacy) before tackling Cotto and Mayweather.

couldnt have said it better myself...Hatton shut the hell up.

You dont want anything to do with none of the top dogs at 147....

              Williams
              Judah
              Mosley
              Cotto
              Floyd

You would never step through the ropes with any of them so shut the **** up.

Its interesting that very few people have said that it would be a great fight and good for boxing.

Everyones just acting like *******, whinging and moaning about Hatton, eventhough he hasnt said a ****ing thing.

Boxing needs fights like this to happen. Thats all im saying.

It would be good for boxing. I'm a Hatton fan but I would rather he fought Cotto and lost than fought someone like Lovemore N'Dou and won by beatdown.
