Here is how Mayweather can make all time top 3-5 greatest ever.

        1) Beat Oscar this May
        2) Unify the titles at 154 or beat the linear champ (but there isn't one since Wright moved up to 154)
        3) Maybe beat Mosley at 147
        4) Beat the middleweight champ (probably will still be Taylor)
        5) Retire undefeated

It's a tall order, but if he doesn't, he is right behind Robinson and Ali

For what its worth...............Oscar has not accomplished much the last couple of years in boxing. I mean since 2000 all he has done is lost to Shane Mosley, beat Arturo Gatti, beat Vargas and Campas (after Tito destroyed them both earlier in his career), won a close fight with Sturm, got Ko'd by Hopkins, and beat another Trinidad leftover in Mayorga. The only intriguing thing about this fight is that Mayweather will take a risk by going up in weight and DLH will be at a comfortable weight. Don't get me wrong Oscar is still competitive, but so are other fighters. Why does he get this opportunity? Because he is an Olympic Champion, loved outside of the ring, has ring and book smarts. Other than that this fight is not the fight of the millenium or century or whatever anyone wants to call it. It's just another pay day for ODL and PBF.

alright guys, i think should start ignoring him... NOW

cause it is SOOOOO clear that this guy started watching boxing last month, thats its truly embarrasing to watch.

Have u ever been to a comedy club, and the guy on stage botches a joke and then stands there for like 2 minutes tryin to remember his lines? Remember how hard that was to watch?

Its the same thing with this guy. I almost feel bad for him. Saying i dont know anything about the history of boxing, yet i have read 500 page books about the louis-shmelling fights and all he knows about them is that they lasted 11 rounds, they were held at yankee stadium, and it was a german vs an america.

            its a shame...

Agreed! Only a handfull of boxers have accomplished the same and actually beat the linear champ in those weight classes and not just titleholders. when it is all said and done he'll be mentioned with those greats.

Great post.. I completly agree. But answering your one question about "Why does he get this opportunity?". Simple answer is that he brings in the pie and everyone wants a piece of his pie.

You ever ask yourself why he brings in the pie? I mean I know why people used to watch Tyson but the only explanation I have for why he brings in so much money is the ones I listed above.
