I've actually known Mexican boxing fans who back Oscar. Yes, more of them liked El Feroz and others...but you can't say the man isn't Mexican because he's rich and doesn't act like a hard ass.

Oh, and aren't you Puerto Rican? Stop speaking for the Mexicans in here. Haha. Nuff love to ya, O.

I understand what he is saying. Latino boxing fans- even those as intelligent as O- love their fighters to have loud mouths and back it up. To have balls, I guess. I have a Mexican friend who got into boxing through me and instantly latched onto the attitude of "El Feroz". It is a very nationalistic thing for them, and they like those representing them to have a bad ass demeanor...at least many do.

Miguel Cotto is quite respectful, though. I always liked how little he ran his mouth, etc.

Cotto doesn;t have to run his mouth...he is an impossing force just as he is...the fact that he is quite makes him even more fearson!!!

Hell his oppnents have been doing all the talk....while they can since after facing Cotto they can;t talk...example: Pauli Malignaggi

I did think Pauli ran his mouth quite a bit- but he backed it up in his own way, too. I mean, Malinaggi really did what people thought he wouldn't- he was willing to trade. He stood his ground against a much bigger man and gave him one hell of a fight. Though Cotto won..I did gain quite a bit of respect for Pauli. No joke.

I'm glad you made this thread. I think it will be boring and a huge let down. This is gonna be the type of fight that makes the casual fan not want to buy a ppv again. Floyd is gonna be back-pedaling and hopping around trying to counter punch and occasionally throw a lead right on Oscar. Oscar is gonna try and chase him down, and I see him getting frustrated because of it. This is gonna be a slightly better version of Mayweather vs Baldomir.

Lots of people have the opinion that this fight is Oscar's to win or lose, maybe so but whether or not this fight is a war or a track meet relies on PBF and I really don't see him wanting to exchange when his best chance for victory is run/box his way to victory. Floyd don't care about winning by demolishing DLH in a crowd pleasing manner, he has the ability/defense to minimize his risk and maybe still win. If Oscar pushes himself beyond his abilities and can cut the ring off and hurt PBF to the body either breaking him down or forcing him into exchanges which may or may not work to DLH's advantage he has a shot. Otherwise this will be one hell of a disapointment and probably a lot more competitive version of Baldomir PBF. Im gonna go against the tide and predict a victory for DLH by KO, middle rounds.
