** Why are so many obsess about the ODLH v. PBF fight?**

I don;t understand why so many of you guys are so obsses with this fight....it will not be a good fight...in fact a boring fight....maybe you guys got all excited when ODLH KO a shot and one hit wonder Mayorga....the man had one good fight , when he defeated by KO an injured Vernon....the Mayorga fight was a farse, sure Mayorga did everything he could to sell the fight, and he did..but in all honesty he knew that it was going to be a short fight , since he was shot....Tito finish him....it was a sad fight to watch, the same as the PBF v ODLH fight will be...

I know all you guys are going to get on my case, but really think about....what makes it a great fight, 2 fighters at his prime...Nope...the battle of the KO artist...Nope....2 legends...Nope...why the mystic....

well, for starters, it's the biggest fight of your lifetime, I'm willing to bet. Definitely the biggest fight since Hagler-Leonard. It's the most money-grossing fighter in the sport vs. the best fighter in the sport. One guy's dad trains the other fighter. I can't believe you're asking such a ridiculous question. Seriously, wake up.

Because it is going to show a lot I think. First off, Floyd has never fought someone like Oscar who is just as skilled and just as smart in the ring as he. Secondly, we get to see where Oscar truly is right now. If he is washed up and needs to give up or if he is rejuvenated for 1 more go. Also, if Oscar upsets Floyd then that says alot history wise and for his legacy. If Floyd wins in dominating fashion like he always does, then that will say a lot for his legacy and make history. There is no 2 boxer that are more popular and marketable right now. So this boxing match is definitely an event and it is one that we haven't had in a long time.

              ^ Agreed.

To the thread starter, what reason do you have to feel the need to try and depricate this fight ? These are two of the best fighters of our generation, going toe-to-toe...who wouldn't want to see this...?

Nothing to add on this one, personally I want to see this fight cause it's between two of the most intelligent fighters in the ring of our era, it's gonna come down to which one figures out & takes the other apart most effectively.
