This could the be the highest grossing boxing match ever. This could have the highest PPV buys ever. even over the heavyweights. This could, and most likely will, but the biggest boxing match ever! Not the most popular, not the greatest, but the biggest and highest grossing
You know so much that you don;t know the different between a great match and fight to one that simply grosses money ...they are not related...dude....now go to the library and check out dome boxing history books..

Please dude..you are pathetic...and need some mayour history lesson in boxing...
you are judging based on how the fights turned out instead of the hype that led up to them. this is going to be much bigger than Trinidad vs. De La Hoya, which had more hype than any fight in the last 20 years. you can't honestly act like this isn't one of the biggest fights of all time. you're seriously gonna sit there and tell me Trinidad vs. Vargas or Barrera vs. Hamed got more hype than this? YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR MIND. the only fights bigger than this are the ones I bolded on your list, all of which I was not alive for or not into boxing at that point since I was a toddler.

You have a personal hatred for De La Hoya and that is evident.... People are not saying this will be the greatest fight ever, they are saying it could be the most SIGNIFICANT ever. Read the posts next time before you flaunt your "boxing history" at us.

lol. did i not say, IN MY POST, that this may not be the most popular fight in the history, but its the biggest and highest grossing?

Do i have to quote myself?

Do u know how to read?

I wish i had the time to go back and quote all the hilarious things u have said in the past 2 days. Cause then you'd shutup and willing admit that you dont know much about boxing at all.

I mean, some of things u have said in this thread alone are hilarious.

Dude, ur a joke. Do urself a favor a stop voicing ur opinions. Or u could do us all a favor, and keep entertaining us all by voicing ur opinions. lol.

              Orishaman has a valid point.
This probably won't be an exciting fight in terms of action. Stylistically, and the fact that Oscar is past his prime, are just two of the few reasons I can think of for this not to be exciting. This is arguably a fight between one of the greatest in the sport currently (Floyd) against a current top 10 fighter for his weight (Oscar); that makes it interesting. But for action, I am not so sure the fight will be as great as people are stating.

I am amazed how so call boxing fans are so disengaged with boxing history, please PBF is not an ATG at this point , and probably all he can strive will be top 75 or 90….I really amazed a boxing site that is full of 20 years old that have no respect for history and then on top of that they are ****y about their lack of knowledge…..it is embarrassing…
